Rates are updated roughly every 25 minutes during Japanese business hours (Mon–Fri, 9 AM–6 PM JST). Each provider card shows when it was last updated so you always know how fresh the data is.

We rank providers by how much the recipient receives for your chosen send amount. The provider delivering the most money ranks #1. This accounts for the exchange rate but not transfer fees, which vary by provider — always check the final amount on the provider's website.

Exchange rates and gold prices are collected from the public-facing websites of each provider. We do not access private, authenticated, or restricted data. Gold prices are sourced from FENEGOSIDA Nepal.

Nipali Events is a community platform for Nepalis living in Japan. Anyone can browse upcoming events — festivals, meetups, food events, information sessions, and more — for free. To create an event, you need an organiser account. All events are reviewed by our team before being published.

Do I need an account to use Nipali?

Accepted Answer

No. Rate comparison, gold prices, and event browsing are all available without signing in. An account (via Google) is needed to RSVP to events, create a public profile, or post events (organisers only).

What information does Nipali collect when I sign in?

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. You can also optionally add a short bio and your city in Japan. We do not collect passwords or payment information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
